摘要: The purpose of this prospective study was to examine the incidence, nature, causes, and severity injuries in female floorball. Three hundred seventy-four licensed floorball players from Finnish top leagues were observed prospectively for one season (6 months). practice game hours recorded on an exercise diary. All registered with a structured questionnaire verified by physician. During period, 133 out 374 (35%) sustained 172 injuries. injury incidence 1.8 per 1000 40.3 hours. Of all injuries, 70% traumatic 30% overuse. most common type joint sprain (27%). commonly injured sites knee (27%) ankle (22%). Twenty-one (46%) serious including 10 anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) ruptures. Eight ACL ruptures occurred during games, giving rupture 3.6 Eleven (6%) needed hospital admission. attested that rate is very high. Injury prevention strategies should be targeted at occurring ankle.
