摘要: Abstract A new rotary forming process used to thicken the rim of a disc-like part was proposed. The paper details results, design and manufacture corresponding apparatus. center point ring roller moves around axis stationary work-piece in plane spiral locus, like rounding hula hoop. Thereby, is rolled thickened. rule for thickening proposed, formula calculating feeding force deduced. Both were verified by results experiment finite element simulation. flow law during also illustrated.
