摘要: Abstract Group D streptococci are contaminants of different food commodities, especially those animal origin. They encompass the physiological subgroups enterococci, non-enterococci and enterococcus-like organisms. The first last may be included in proposed new genus Enterococcus future. serologically base grouping no longer constitute best definition which important hygiene. Up to present day more than 100 modifications selective media have been described for group or enterococci. Therefore it is impossible recommend a universal medium. choice medium depends on whether total enterococci detected not habitat highly contaminated. selectivity productivity following were compared using set test strains: citrate-azide-Tween-carbonate-agar (CATC), kanamycin-aesculin-azide-agar (KAA) M-enterococcus-agar (ME).
