摘要: Olfactory bulb ensheathing cell (OBEC) transplants promoted axonal regeneration in the spinal cord dorsal root entry zone and corticospinal tract. However, OBECs failed to promote abducens internuclear neuron axon when transplanted at site of nerve fibre transection. In experiments performed both cats rats, survived for up 2 months, lining themselves along portion regrowing axons proximal interneuron body. migrated preferentially towards somata, direction opposite oculomotor nucleus target. seem only where preferred glial migration coincides with growth its
