摘要: We investigated the efficiency of 5 -untranslated region (UTR) tobacco alcohol dehydrogenase gene (NtADH-5 UTR) as a translational enhancer in chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum morifolium) and torenia (Torenia fournieri). Three constructs were introduced: control, "ADH ," cauliflower mosaic virus 35S RNA (CaMV 35S) promoter::b-glucuronidase (GUS); NtADH-5 UTR with spacer, "ADHS," CaMV promoter::NtADH-5 UTR::25-bp spacer::GUS; no UTR::GUS. The highest GUS activity ADHS ADHfor was about 45 190 times, respectively, for 12 22 than that ADHplants. enhanced both species. With lowest set to 1, relative efficiencies 1 15 (ADH ), 47 568 (ADHS), 267 1360 ) chrysanthemum, 3 114 85 226 torenia. would facilitate practical breeding fundamental genetic research
