摘要: AbstractThrough statistics published by the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), paper explores why oilfield sabotage from 2009 to 2015 remains a problem in Niger Delta, despite amnesty programme. It explains some of these incidents are direct result failure implement socio-economic development successive state agencies due corruption, consequence natural resource curse. The article then and how Nigerian Non-Renewable Revenue Special Fund overseen United Nations Programme should be established which would not only manage portion oil revenue funds Delta but also initiate valid social economic projects order help reduce prevalence instability region.
