摘要: Acquired brain injury from traumatic injury, cardiac arrest (CA), stroke, and central nervous system infection is a leading cause of morbidity mortality in the pediatric population reason for admission to inpatient rehabilitation. Therapeutic hypothermia only intervention shown have efficacy bench bedside improving neurological outcome after birth asphyxia adult arrhythmia-induced CA, thought be due its multiple mechanisms action. Research determine if therapeutic should applied other causes how best apply it underway children adults.
