摘要: Pre-treatment of paper pulps with xylanases has been shown to decrease the amounts toxic chlorine dioxide used bleach pulp. Natural are unable tolerate extremes pH and temperature during bleaching process have be genetically modified made more suitable for such industrial conditions. Such modification can achieved using site-directed or random mutagenesis methods. Random methods attractive because detailed information regarding sequence structure enzyme is not required. This chapter outlines how thermal stability alkaline a glycosyl hydrolase family 11 cellulase-free xylanase from fungus Thermomyces lanuginosus were improved two methods, error-prone PCR DNA shuffling method called staggered extension process.
