摘要: In Arabidopsis thaliana, seed development in recombinants of the ABA-deficient aba mutant with ABA response mutants abi1 or abi3 is compared to wild type and monogenic parents. Aberrant occurred aba,abi3 recombinant was normal aba,abi1, aba,abi1 seeds. Embryos seeds maintained green color until maturity, kept a high water content, did not form late abundant 2S 12S storage proteins, were desiccation intolerant, often showed viviparous germination. Application ABA, particularly an analog, roots plants during partially alleviated aberrant phenotype. Seeds when they developed on mother plant heterozygous for Aba. contrast development, induction dormancy blocked all recombinants. Dormancy only induced by embryonic ABA; it could be increased maternal applied plant. It concluded that endogenous has at least two different effects developing The nature these responses system discussed.
