摘要: Focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH) and hepatocellular adenomas (HCA) are the two major types of benign tumors. They defined by a proliferation hepatocytes, but in clinical practice, these lesions may be sometimes difficult to diagnose from well-differentiated carcinomas (HCC) [1, 2]. Recently, different molecular pathways, specifically altered FNH HCA, have been identified. Moreover, analysis genotype-phenotype correlation HCA also enabled identification well-defined sub-types leading propose new classification Actually, this provides robust foundations better understand bases tumorigenesis including its relationship with malignant transformation. It is an important step search novel markers specific tumor subtypes that could used practice for diagnosis or prognosis. In chapter, we will review recent progress performed characterization according pathological features each subgroup.
