摘要: BACKGROUND: Extent of atherosclerotic coronary artery disease in patients with stable angina has important prognostic and therapeutic implications. In current models plaque evolution, thrombocytes play an role growth. Mean platelet volume is a readily obtainable marker that was shown to correlate aggregability vitro increased values were demonstrated after acute vascular events. OBJECTIVE: this study, we investigated the relationship mean angiographic extent angina. METHODS: Past medical records, complete blood count data 267 eligible reviewed. Angiographic evaluated form using Gensini score by expert invasive cardiology. obtained from counts one day before angiography. Patients grouped as those within (n = 176) lower than 62) population-based range for volume. Comparison between groups correlation analysis performed. RESULTS: There no linear total (p 0.29), while thrombocyte inversely correlated < 0.001; r 0.41). normal had significantly (36.73 ± 32.5 vs. 45.63 32.63; p 0.023) three-vessel (18% 36%; 0.007) compared ranges. CONCLUSION: Our findings show exists disease, reduced disease.
