摘要: Weibel-Palade bodies (WPBs) are rod or cigar-shaped secretory organelles that formed by the vascular endothelium. They contain a diverse set of proteins either function in haemostasis, inflammation, angiogenesis. Biogenesis WPB occurs at Golgi apparatus process is dependent on main component WPB, haemostatic protein von Willebrand Factor (VWF). During this organelle directed towards regulated secretion pathway recruiting machinery responds to exocytosis stimulating agonists. Upon maturation periphery cell recruits Rab27A which regulates secretion. To date several signaling pathways have been found stimulate release. These can trigger modes including single release and multigranular exocytosis. In review we will give an overview lifecycle from biogenesis discuss deficiencies affect lifecycle.
