摘要: Background and Design: An increased prevalence of chronic liver disease has been reported in patients with lichen planus (LP). We report six cases LP associated active hepatitis actively replicating C virus (HCV). Results: studied (three men three women; mean age, 61 years; age range, 47 to 70 years) various forms (cutaneous and/or mucosal) abnormal test results. Four had severe mucosal lesions. Cutaneous lesions a long-term evolution. Liver was discovered 2 6 years before diagnosed at the same time as other cases. biopsy performed five showed without cirrhosis all Anti—HCV antibodies were detected by second-generation enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay confirmed recombinant immunoblot assay. Hepatitis RNA evidenced means polymerase chain reaction serum samples from patients, proving viral replication. Conclusions: Lichen may be HCV-related hepatitis. As interferon treatment induce inactivation some disease, search for HCV infection should systematically LP. (Arch Dermatol. 1994;130:73-76)
