摘要: This study presents a model for exploring the interactions between transport market and monopolistic advanced traveller information systems (ATIS). We examine properties of market, in particular, relationship monopoly pricing road system efficiency. From experiments, we find that increasing penetration will lead to negative external effects already informed drivers. Furthermore, is not most attractive option from efficiency viewpoint, because relatively high price charged by monopolist. Third, user or producer subsidy on can help realise second-best optimum use. Finally, low uncertainty costs limit monopolist's profit as well relative While inelastic demand mobility negatively affects profit, social benefits private peak at intermediate elasticities.
