摘要: In this paper, the impact of endogenous information provision to drivers in road transport is investigated. A static economic equilibrium model used, which allows potential users buy on prevailing (stochastic) traffic situation. It takes for granted that an individual will try acquire proper when private benefits doing so exceed costs. By using users, interesting result found leads a strict Pareto improvement. Furthermore, shows — depending price it can be efficiency improving subsidise or tax motorist user. Finally, there relationship between fine congestion pricing and subsidising information. turns out social welfare maximising subsidy under first-best equal zero. However, may attractive policy instrument flat scheme preferred.
