摘要: The interaction between a transcription factor and its binding site at the DNA is an integral part of transcriptional regulatory networks, which fundamental for understanding biological processes. An example family MADS domain factors, represent key regulators processes in yeast, animals plants. However, despite our extensive knowledge these limited information available on cis-elements to proteins bind or how elements are defined. Here, we discuss current protein sites compare data from various organisms. This can help us developing algorithms predict would be significant step forward identification "down-stream" target genes elucidation networks.
