摘要: There is a growing demand for reliable information about land cover and resources. The Norwegian area frame survey of outfield resources (AR18X18) response to this demand. AR18X18 provides unbiased resource statistics constitutes baseline studying changes in Norway framework national accounting system the outfields. uses systematic sampling technique with 0.9 km2 sample plots at 18 km intervals. A complete wall-to-wall map an entire plot surveyed obtained situ by team fieldworkers equipped aerial photographs. use extended coverage (0.9 km2) ensures that also deals local variation, thus strengthening estimates well beyond simple point sampling. article documents methodology used survey, followed discussion issues raised choice methodology.
