摘要: Studies of iodine sorption on low-alloy steel in helium atmosphere included both computer calculations and experimental measurements under conditions that could be related to the high-temperature gas-cooled reactor (HTGR). Adsorption provide data potentially releasable inventory (a major radiological hazard) stored surfaces coolant circuit during normal operation. Measurements rate extent desorption when test were changed are useful for evaluating consequences accidents. The results with SOLGASMIX-PV program indicated HI is dominant species system deposition CrI/sub 2/(s) or FeI/sub cooler regions will effectively limit amount gas phase. Experimental obtained 2-1/4% Cr-1% Mo specimens at burdens as low 10/sup -6/ Pa (10/sup -11/ atm), about 100 times lower than any previous work.
