摘要: The carbonyl-carbon kinetic isotope effect (KIE) and the substituent were measured for reaction of magnesium pinacolone enolate (CH2=C(OMgBr)C(CH3)3, 1) with benzaldehyde. results compared those lithium (CH2=C(OLi)C(CH3)3, 2). A normal KIE, a medium-sized Hammett ρ value chemical probe experiments indicated that 1 proceeds via polar mechanism as in 2.
