摘要: Abstract The mass transfer of amino acids [tryptophan (Trp), phenylalanine (Phe) and dipeptides (tryptophan–leucine (Trp–Leu), phenylalanine–leucine (Phe–Leu)] was studied by using a hollow fiber module (HFM). membrane (2.5 cm diameter×20 cm long) has shell-and-tube configuration allows flow two streams in the shell sides. liquid contained an ionic carrier, Aerosol OT (AOT), dissolved oleyl alcohol. operated both extraction supported (SLM) mode. In SLM mode, organic solution loaded inside micropores ‘feed’ (an aqueous containing target solutes) ‘strip’ (containing sodium chloride) were circulated through sides, respectively. results not encouraging so experiments performed This done recirculating feed solutions effects recirculation rate, initial pH concentration on percentage have been determined. equilibrium reactions at interfaces from side to analyzed with simple theoretical model. distribution coefficient obtained two-phase partition used calculate overall coefficient.
