摘要: Abstract An experimental study of betaine separation involving non-dispersive solvent extraction using hollow fibers is described. The extractant was a solution dinonylnaphthalene sulfonic acid (DNNSA) in n-heptane and stripping performed with sodium hydroxide solution. Different operating conditions for the processes were tested single fiber contactor then both operated simultaneously two contactors series. results fitted kinetic model design parameters, namely overall mass-transfer coefficients referred to feed phases. also estimated conventional diffusion relative contribution in-series resistances evaluated reaction–diffusion that takes into account interfacial reactions. A comparison individual showed complex-formation reaction slower than decomposition reaction. This technology applied beet molasses betaine/sucrose under identified previously. correctly simulated by mathematical developed previously synthetic solutions.
