摘要: Iron(II) sulphate hydrates (hexa- through mono-) have been prepared and their thermal decomposition behaviours studied in air by isothermal dynamic analysis methods. The results show that are similar to of the heptahydrate. stepwise loss water molecules is accompanied oxidation. Under a restricted supply oxygen, anhydrous oxidized directly Fe2O(SO4)2 without formation Fe(OH)SO4. When free exchange with oxygen allowed, Fe(OH)SO4 formed, which turn decomposes Fe2O(SO4)2. Fe2(SO4)2 iron(III) oxide sulphur oxides appears occur via two independent paths — one direct other sulphate.
