摘要: Wavelength selective photodetection employing a vertical coupler filter is described based on GaAs/AlGaAs pin structure. The centre wavelength was varied depending the grating period by 12.8nm/μm for transverse electric mode. Frequency response indicated that cutoff frequency at least 1 GHz. proposed device has potential use in having 3dB bandwidth down to nm or less; only mm long.
