摘要: The numerous reports by many authors as well our own results indicate that E-cadherin plays a role in CNS tumors – meningiomas. suppression of expression is regarded one the main molecular events responsible for dysfunction cell-cell adhesion. It now apparent downregulation involved meningioma development. Our studies on meningiomas different grades showed 73% had expression. Intense was noticed with II and III. analysis genetic level changes loss heterozygosity (LOH) 32% investigated. Also, another type genomic instability detected 11% sample MSI phenotype. result impaired cellular mismatch repair. Beta-catenin effector molecule wnt signaling bound to adherens junctions. progressively upregulated from meningothelial atypical, while 60% anaplastic upregulation nuclear localization protein. A significant association between CDH1 beta-catenin protein (P < 0.022) established study. Better understanding profile will elucidate pathophysiological mechanisms tumor formation, eventually offer improved prognostic markers meningioma.
