摘要: Resistomycin preferentially inhibits RNA synthesis in comparison to DNA and protein intact bacterial cells. Studies with cell-free systems have shown that the antibiotic interferes synthesis, while is inhibited a much lesser extent. Detailed studies indicate an interaction of resistomycin DNA- polymerase. In case polymerase this was proved by CD measurements, whereas no DNA, RNA, homopolynucleotides could be found. One can conclude binding basis for its interference synthesis.
