摘要: In this paper performance of several transmission line switching overvoltage limitation techniques are analyzed and compared with each other. Application closing resistors, intermediate surge arresters controlled methods simulated analyzed. The effects simultaneous application the mentioned also investigated. results comprehensive study help utilities to properly select suitable technique. Simulations analyses performed using a real 400 kV line.
