摘要: The occurrence of in vivo apoptosis was investigated lymph node sections obtained from HIV-infected persons at different stages disease. degree nodes individuals compared with that observed HIV-negative individuals. Apoptosis readily detected both and HIV-positive persons; however, the three to four times higher than persons. In contrast which confined largely germinal centers, all functional compartments (i.e., cortex, paracortex, sinuses) were extensively involved by this phenomenon. Furthermore, a significant correlation between intensity activation lymphoid tissue associated HIV infection. contrast, correlated neither clinical stage disease nor viral burden node. Finally, not restricted only CD4+ T cells; B cells CD8+ found undergo apoptosis. Taken together, these results indicate increased apoptotic phenomenon infection is caused general state immune activation, independent progression levels load.
