摘要: In this chapter the role played by H2S in physiopathology of urogenital tract revising animal and human data available current relevant literature is discussed. pathway has been demonstrated to be involved mechanism underlying penile erection experimental animal. Both cystathionine-β synthase (CBS) cystathionine-γ lyase (CSE) are expressed corpus cavernosum exogenous relaxes isolated strips an endothelium-independent manner. Hydrogen sulfide also accounts for direct vasodilatory effect operated testosterone on vessels. Convincing evidence suggests that can influence cGMP inhibiting phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE-5) activity. All these findings taken together suggest important homeostasis. However, not confined but plays bladder. Human bladder expresses mainly CBS generates vitro detectable amount H2S. addition relaxant PDE-5 inhibitor sildenafil involves as mediator.
