摘要: This paper uses a Foucauldian governmentality framework to analyse and interrogate the discourses strategies adopted by state sections of business community in their attempts shape influence emerging agendas governance post-devolution Scotland. Much work on has examined ways which governments have developed particular techniques, rationales mechanisms enable functioning programmes. expands upon such analyses also looking at interests may use similar procedures, practices promote own develop new forms resistance, contestation challenge policy frameworks. Using example interest mobilization Scotland, it is argued that seek mobilize defined expertise knowledge, linking them wider political debates. This, however, creates opportunities for contest government. The governmentalization politics can, therefore, be seen as more dialectical process definition than often apparent existing Foucault-inspired writing.
