摘要: Phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2) has emerged as a versatile regulator of TRP ion channels. In many cases, the regulation involves interactions channel proteins with lipid itself independent its hydrolysis products. The functions mediated by such are diverse. Some channels absolutely require PIP2 for functioning, while others inhibited. A change gating is common to all, endowing role modulation sensitivity their physiological stimuli. activation may also influence cellular levels via influx Ca2+ through these Depletion in plasma membrane occurs upon TRPV1, TRPM8, and possibly TRPM4/5 heterologous expression systems, whereas resynthesis requires entry TRP/TRPL Drosophila photoreceptors. These developments concerning reinforce significance PLC signaling cascade function, provide further perspectives understanding roles ubiquitous often enigmatic
