摘要: In order to determine the frequency and characteristics of patients with liver abnormalities as presenting manifestation Hodgkin's disease (HD), 421 consecutive HD were studied. Six in series (1.4%) presented that led a biopsy subsequent diagnosis HD. All had fever prior diagnosis, four frank jaundice, one hepatic failure. No patient pruritus. Moderate hepatomegaly was present patients. Cholestasis observed all cases; most moderate increase transaminase activity also seen. Two mild rise serum LDH, leukopenia, eosinophilia. At histologic study, Reed-Sternberg cells demonstrated patients; remaining two, presence atypical histiocytes, lymphocytes, eosinophils highly suggestive HD, latter being confirmed by study bone marrow and/or retroperitoneal lymphadenopathies. three six patients, not sites other than liver. Three older 60 years died shortly after diagnosis. By contrast, younger 40 showed dramatic response chemotherapy: two them further relapse, is considered cured 14 continuous remission.
