摘要: Osteonectin is a phosphoglycoprotein exclusively located in bone and platelet α-granules. Human platelet-derived osteonectin released into plasma after thrombin-induced activation. Recognizing the unique distribution of pool, we first sought to investigate whether could serve as sensitive marker activity, identify patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). The second objective was define effects thrombolytic therapy these on concentrations at prespecified time points following attempted reperfusion. levels by ELISA were determined AMI before thrombolysis 3, 6, 12, 24 hours thereafter compared 12 healthy controls. At baseline, soluble similar between controls (447.7±20.6 ng/ml) (425.7±43.3 ng/mL; p=NS). A significant increase observed 3 (519.4±26.9 p=0.03), followed decrease baseline 6 Contrary expectations, level our pilot study not distinguishing AMI. early peak most likely related coronary per se but rather phasic changes activity during ischemia-reperfusion. unquestionable origin this protein lack elevated α-granule constituent, challenge postulate uniform activation patients.
