摘要: Abstract In this paper, five specimens of connections reduced beam section (RBS) steel to concrete-filled tubular (CFST) circular hollow (CHS) column using an external ring were tested. The experiments considered the hysteretic behaviour under combined constant axial load and cyclic lateral load. For comparison, three a weak-column without RBS configuration CFST connection tested same conditions. level column, width stiffening as experimental parameters their seismic behaviour. It was found that ( P ) versus deformation Δ hysteresis curves exhibited no obvious strength deterioration stiffness degradation. energy dissipation is significantly improved when compared with connections. concrete filled CHS columns failed capacity reduced. can be concluded exhibit good performance.
