摘要: Abstract This article presents a simple engineering procedure to assess the fracture failure in welded connection between concrete-filled square hollow section and an open flange H-section, so as enhance ductility of composite connection. predicates on elliptical envelope generalized yield model proposed verified previous studies. The experimental program compares performance BASE specimen without openings connected H-section two specimens (denoted B1 B2) with introduced near numerically computed index yielding for all agree physical mechanisms observed test. study demonstrates that improve effectively highly stiffened tube steel beam.
