摘要: AbstractThe central Indian Ocean (CIO) mode, an intrinsic coupled plays important role in the intraseasonal variabilities over monsoon region. Besides variabilities, CIO mode also has pronounced seasonal and interannual variabilities. The is active during boreal summer but suppressed winter. seasonality mainly attributable to barotropic instability, which caused by large meridional shear of zonal winds.
