摘要: Summary Background  Acute liver injury of uncertain aetiology is often drug related and quantitative information about the associated risk scarce. Aim  To estimate acute with use drugs. Methods  In a population survey study, 126 cases were prospectively assembled from January 1993 to December 1999, in patients over 15 years age, 12 hospitals Barcelona (Spain). We estimated relative for each as ratio between incidence among exposed those not it. Drug consumption data used population. Results  Isoniazid, pyrazinamide, rifampicin, amoxicillin clavulanic acid, erythromicin, chlorpromazine, nimesulide, ticlopidine presented highest (point risk > 25). Amoxicillin, metoclopramide, captopril enalapril, furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, fluoxetine, paroxetine, diazepam, alprazolam, lorazepam, metamizole, low-dose acetylsalicylic acid salbutamol showed lowest risk < 5). Conclusions  This study provides estimation serious disease various drugs that will be useful its diagnosis management, when comparing therapeutic benefit indication. Some observed associations would worth specific studies.
