摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the formation of 3D-moments and spin fluctuations in some rare-earth-cobalt compounds. In combination with large magnetovolume effects, these compounds exhibit a number characteristic properties that make them suitable for checking various physical theories. The focuses on Co-based Laves phase describes itinerant-electron metamagnetism (IEMM) materials. magnetic systems consisting both itinerant electrons localized spins are formulated based s–d model. effects behavior, heat capacity, magnetoresistance also reviewed chapter. 4f–3d exchange interaction its effect induced Co-metamagnetic behavior is presented rare-earth-Co 2 role R-atom influence 3d affecting character transitions fluctuation scattering discussed.
