摘要: Abstract The Plasma Wave System (PWS) on board the Soviet Spacecraft Phobos 2 has performed electron density and, for first time, electric field measurements in environment of planet Mars. Electron plasma oscillations are observed upstream bow shock and yield a solar wind order cm−3; foot and/or ion foreshock detected each orbit. altitude noon sector fluctuates between 0.45 0.75 Mars radii (Rms) above planetary surface. downstream wind, planetosheath, is characterized by increased broadband electrostatic noise. planetopause crossed at altitudes 0.28 Rms. Electromagnetic waves with frequencies below local gyrofrequency, propagating whistler mode, recorded within planetosphere, where reaches unexpectedly large values, up to 700 cm−3 an 0.25 Intense emissions generated heavy ions ; these linked erosion process Martian atmosphere wind.
