摘要: A butane-utilizing bacterial strain CF8 was isolated and identified as a member of the genus Nocardioides from chemotaxonomic 16S rDNA sequence analysis. Strain grew on alkanes ranging C2 to C16 in addition butane various other substrates including primary alcohols, carboxylic acids, phenol. Butane degradation by inactivated light, specific inactivator copper-containing monooxygenases. The unique thermal aggregation phenomenon acetylene-binding polypeptides also observed for CF8. These results suggest that monooxygenase is third example monooxygenases previously described ammonia oxidizers methanotrophs.
