摘要: Objective The objective of this study was to identify determinants health-related quality life (HRQoL) impairment in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Methods Overall, 101 SLE were recruited; 37 healthy subjects and 35 rheumatoid arthritis (RA) served as controls. HRQoL evaluated using three patient reported outcomes (PROs): the Short Form-36 version 2 (SF-36v2) health survey, fatigue scale 4 (FACITv4) Heath Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ). A large set demographic clinical variables, including subtypes, searching for factors independently associated worse QoL. Multivariate models applied outcomes. Bonferroni's corrected p values < 0.05 considered significant. Results showed results than controls ( p < 0.01) all SF-36v2 domains and, reference mental QoL, also RA p < 0.01). Jaccoud's deformities, active arthritis, fibromyalgia only both physical components summary FACITv4 Fragility fractures, negatively affected disability perception measured by HAQ No statistically significant differences perceived highlighted between deforming erosive arthritis. However, they had significantly non-deforming non-erosive across investigated PROs Conclusion In order limit musculoskeletal manifestations a source impaired QoL patients, therapeutic strategies targeted successfully manage prevent damage are needed.
