摘要: The impact of mother-infant bedsharing on infant sleeping position, orientation, and proximity to the mother was assessed in 12 breast-feeding Latino pairs. Six routinely six solitary-sleeping pairs slept 3 nights sleep laboratory. first night matched routine home condition, followed by 1 random order. During infants were never placed prone, regardless their condition. On night, mothers spent most oriented toward each other; seven remained entire night. While a face-to-face time less than 30 cm apart with appreciable amounts at 20 cm. This orientation should facilitate sensory exchanges between which, we hypothesize, influence infant's physiology nocturnal behavior. We conclude that minimizes use prone probably part breast feeding. By promoting nonprone positions, may protect some from sudden death syndrome (SIDS), since is known risk factor for SIDS. large percentage suggests higher degree maternal vigilance also result bedsharing.
