摘要: Summary Extracorporeal life support is by far the most extraordinary and complex form of extracorporeal technology used in practice critical care medicine. It to critically ill patient who suffer acute respiratory or cardiac failure unresponsive conventional support. As technologies have refined pathophysiologic reaction that occurs at blood/biomaterial interface has not been conquered; a new set physiologic responses/derangements occur with patient's exposure artificial circuit. Without this mortality near certain if management precise judicious complications can be catastrophic. The on ECLS same as for any added need anticoagulation maintain patency circuit without causing bleeding within thrombosis circuitry patient. This precarious balance hemostasis during ECLS.
