摘要: TESTOSTERONE AND FRUSTRATION The sexual behavior has anxiolytic-like effects in several procedures. There is a wide body of literature that suggests one possible mechanism involved this phenomenon the increase testosterone’s release produced by situation. Findings androgen’s exogenous administration support hypothesis. In previous studies have been use different aversive’s stimulus, like electrics shocks, cold water immersion, etc. aim present study evaluated if anxiolytic effect also with reduction an expected appetitive reinforcer. With objective we realize chronic 25mg/kg testosterone consummatory successive negative contrast procedure. indings suggest subjects show minor frustration and faster recovery than control animals. results are discussed relationship emotional functional equivalence between aversive stimulus omission stimulus.
