摘要: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are one of the most commonly used classes pharmaceutical in canine practice. Globally, current oral NSAID market for chronic pain small animals is estimated to be US$330 million, with UK valued at around US$47 million. As NSAIDs have developed, companies strived optimise efficacy and reduce incidence adverse events, particularly those associated gastrointestinal system, through a greater understanding basic pharmacology. This article discusses latest innovations, including relating drug delivery pharmacokinetics, dogs osteoarthritis, which often requires long-term treatment.
