摘要: The most significant difference between Neanderthals and modern humans can be observed in their culture. Compared with other extinct hominids, human cultures have undergone cumulative improvement, which may caused the great success of our species. I investigate conditions for to improve many cultural traits achieve a high level show that increase improvement ability brings about frequent improvements culture, but it does not demand larger brain provided size reflects total number learned by each individual. On hand, individual social learning abilities make culture attain demands brain. Based on model results, present an evolutionary scenario hominid abilities.
