摘要: Sulfate uptake into duckweed (Lemna gibba G1) was studied by means of [35S]sulfate influx and measurements electrical membrane potential. Uptake strongly regulated the intracellular content soluble sulfate. At onset sulfate potential transiently depolarized. Fusicoccin stimulated up to 165% control even at pH 8. It is suggested that energized in whole range a 3H+/sulfate cotransport mechanism. Kinetics sulfate-induced depolarization concentration 5 μM 1 mM 5.7 best described two Michaelis-Menten terms without any linear component. The second system had lower affinity for fully active only sufficiently high proton concentrations.
