摘要: Abstract Matrix spectroscopy is useful as an analytical tool provided certain fundamental modifications are made in experimental technique. Apparatus requirements and sample preparation procedures detailed. Only conventional spectrometric instrumentation used. Infrared pseudo matrix isolation (PMI) shown to be for qualitative analysis of complex gas mixtures. The method applies all volatile infrared absorbing materials. Pseudo has estimable quantitative properties PMI spectra readily reduced tabular form machine handling. Detection sensitivities 0.05 μmoles reagent deposited per square centimeter substrate not uncommon. simplicity suggests a variety applications relating mainly the stable molecules. A whole new time scale experiments introduced.
