摘要: AbstractBackground: The relationship between conscientiousness, mental health and illness has been an issue for the last two decades.Aims: By using a dual model of health, present study examined non-linear conscientiousness healthy or non-healthy symptoms in different cultures.Method: Participants this were 296 Iranian 310 Swedish university students (18–24 years age). We used scales; 12-item subscale NEO/FFI as imported (etic) scale, 10-item scale indigenous (emic) culture-dependent scale.Results: In both scales, multivariate analysis variance showed that differentiated among four groups (languishing, troubled, symptomatic flourishing), although languishing troubled individuals less conscientious than flourishing individuals.
