Adolescent males' combined use of condoms with partners' use of female contraceptive methods.

摘要: Objective: Protection from both sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancy is best obtained by the combined use of male condoms effective female contraceptive methods. This research examines dual method among teenage men. Method: Analyzed data 1995 National Survey Adolescent Males, a nationally representative survey 15 to 19-year-old males. Used bivariate analyses logistic regression examine correlates Results: At last intercourse, 17% active males reported condom contraception. Condom use, alone in combination with method, was positively associated talking partner about contraception condoms, believing that have responsibility for contraception, being an earlier stage relationship. Only high levels worry differentially influenced increasing likelihood using but not alone. Conclusions: The results suggest efforts increase general should also influence young men's when their method. Providing information prevalence serious consequences may adolescents.
