摘要: This chapter reviews research on how individual differences in linguistic and cognitive abilities influence syntactic processing the second language (L2). We briefly discuss variability L2 through lens of behavioral measurements, followed by a more extensive review electrophysiological (i.e., Event-Related Potentials, ERP) studies processing. Relative to literature, fewer ERP have examined large majority these focused only two factors: Age Acquisition proficiency. also that used correlational regression analyses oscillatory neural dynamics complex network analysis. conclude with discussion inter-individual variation response profiles associated L1 learners, application Response-Dominance Index quantify profiles.
